Wizkids Made In Lagos Equals Felas Black President Record on Billboard World Album

Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ is still making giant strides globally and the latest feat it h as chalked is equally phenomenal.

The Afrobeat powerhouse, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun is now on par with his late compatriot Fela Anikulapo Kuti as far as a billboard chart is concerned.

Made In Lagos album has now equaled Fela’s, ‘The Best Of The Black President’ as the longest-running album on Billboard World Albums Chart, spending a total of 45 weeks on the chart.

Fela has his moment with The Black President compilation which he released in 1999 as a posthumous album. The Best of Fela Kuti is a 2-CD compilation album released by MCA Records. It dropped in the United States in 2000 as part of a reissue series of Kuti’s albums.

Not too long ago, Wizkid was spotted with a mystery lady emerging from a club and most of his female fans are talking very much about it.

Starboy and the mystery lady were chilling in a section of a club when they decided to leave together. As they walked out together, the Nigerian singer firmly held her hand while a fan was heard shouting his name enthusiastically.

A fan of the singer who recorded the video revealed that he also wanted to get into the section of the club where the singer sat.
